Kaja’s Exercises

SK5 – Lindsey Vonn; best American skier
SK1 – Aboriginal art
SK2 – I wanted to focus on the length of a paintbrush stroke and the color I used. If you start at the upper left corner, I used long strokes and dark blue colors for the slow, dark start of the day. Then you move to the right and downwards where the light blue and yellow portray how I see my day at the Mountain top; the paintbrush strokes also become shorter as the day progresses. Then we move into red and green with short quick strokes which symbolize my track and field practice time. Red and green color are linked to the surfaces we mostly run on. Lastly, back to long and dark strokes when I get ready for bed.
SK3 – The face is filled with plastic bottles, as my response to the pollution that we are breathing in every day. The hands symbolize the hands of politicians that cover up the truth; I decided to use child hands for it.
SK3 – Since I don’t remember any dreams, the first thing which feels almost like a dream is the sunrise through the curtains when I wake up.
